The Tarraqi Project is a community centered rights-based effort to develop access to entitlements, especially welfare schemes, better functioning of Government schools through an empowered School Management Committee (SMC) and to support vulnerable women and children in backward areas understanding and seeking their rights. The project initiated in Tonk (Rajasthan) in 2013, has around 680 women, 538 youth and 180 community leaders who have been proactively collaborating and raising awareness about rights and entitlements through a network of Sangathans or groups.
