Skills Development
India has been growing at a relatively high rate in the last few years, and is likely to be the largest economy in the world by 2050. Unlike most of the developed economies, India is a young country with about 63 per cent population currently being in the working age group of 15 to 59 years. But, this demographic dividend could prove to be a mirage if we are not able to engage our youth to set high standards for themselves and thereby guide and support them to achieve it. India is expected to grow at a rate of 8% on an average, in the next 10 years. More than 700 million Indians are estimated to be of working age by 2022. Out of these, more than 500 million require some kind of vocational or life skill development training. The need of the hour is expertise in their chosen subjects and also appropriate life skills, including entrepreneurship skills. As of now, only about 5-6 percent youth have access to some kind of skills and much fewer receive any kind of qualitative coaching and guidance.
Tarraqi I Foundation is committed to address this urgent need of mentoring the youth by strengthening their scholastic as well vocational and life skills.
Life Skills and Leadership Training
We consider Life Skills like Empathy, Trust, Teamwork, Optimal Utilization of Resources, Positivity, Communication etc. as paramount and these are subtly embedded in all our trainings. We work on integrating Life Skills in School Curriculum and in the environment by working with all stakeholders: Educational Leaders, Teachers, Students, Staff and Parents.

English Language Development
Educationally disadvantaged sections of society, especially first generation learners, face a huge challenge in their educational and professional growth because of their limited abilities in the English language, especially communicative English. We facilitate english language workshops for teachers working in low cost schools and rural and marginalised areas to improve their English Language abilities and also to understand and practice more student friendly and interactive learning strategies.
RELO English Teachers Training Programme is an all India project supported by the American Centre. Along with MMEWS and HLT, TiF facilitated a twenty days residential training for teachers under this project.
Time for English for children who have no or very little English communication around them and English language teachers whose own language abilities are inadequate , we offer the ‘Time for English’ programme - an effective and entertaining Interactive Audio Instructions (IAI) language learning programme comprising of a set of 100 Audio lessons of 45 mins each, a teacher’s manual and other teaching aids.
