The main challenge in improving the quality of education lies in addressing core issues such as knowledge, attitude and skills of the school management and teachers, pedagogical approaches, administrative competence, inadequate training, paucity of relevant resources et al. These challenges are manyfold in low cost community schools, where little or no support is provided for the capacity development of the school heads and teachers. TiF has developed and conducts comprehensive 360* School Assessment - a granular and comprehensive assessment tool to identify areas that need strengthening. Thereby, an Assessment report along with the school development plan is shared with the school leaders, teachers and SMC members.
