Jai Hind project is an education & skills development program to enable the children & youth of urban slums & villages to have better employment/earning opportunities. It also supports the slum community b disseminating
information on health & hygiene, access to scholarships, welfare schemes, etc. Initiated on Independence Day, 15th August 2019, the Tarragi I Foundation is facilitating this project with the philanthropic support of Samaritans and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).
We offer FLN (Foundational Literacy & Numeracy) training & bridge coaching for 'out of school' & 'dropout children', to go back or get admission at a nearby
government school or low-cost private school(under RTE). Moreover, we ensure
future support for the children and youth through subject coaching (middle &
secondary school), skill development, employability, and entrepreneurial support. Working in a participatory way with the parents & local community, we also provide support for accessing scholarships, welfare schemes etc and counselling/support on health & nutrition.
