Zaheer Alam

Zaheer Alam was recruited as the Project Coordinator for the Tarraqi Project - one of the most successful TiF projects where he has played a pivotal role. His sincerity and passion has earned him deep respect and affection amongst all the stakeholders. He has been one of the core team members of TiF almost since it started in 2012, facilitating the implementation of various projects, project monitoring, hand holding the team on the field, and collaborating with the local administration, community and media. He completed his B.Sc. from M.J.P. Rohilkhand University, B.Ed from CCS University, Meerut, and Masters in Education from Kumaon University. Being a sociable person, a dynamic student and sportsman, he was elected as the President of the Student’s Union. He lights up any gathering with his energy and cheerful demeanor and is looked up with great affection by the students as well as their parents and community members. He is a great actor and playwright and has written and facilitated Nukkad Nataks on various themes. Proficiency in Hindi language and ability to type is a great asset for him in doing grass roots work in North India since a lot of communication has to happen in Hindi.
