Mr. Ibrahim Ahmad

Mr. Ibrahim Ahmad is the Group Editor, Business Magazines Group, with CyberMedia (India) Ltd, South Asia’s largest technology media company. In this capacity he heads 3 publications including DATAQUEST – India’s oldest (1982) and largest selling IT industry magazine, and Voice&Data – India’s oldest (1994) and largest selling telecom magazine; and GlobalServices, a global portal for the BPO sector. Under his supervision some of the country’s most well known national industry surveys such as DQ Top 20 and V&D100 are undertaken. Currently he heads a team of about 40 members and is responsible for editorial, marketing & sales, circulation and events for these publications. The Business Magazines Group achieved a revenue target of Rs 8.8 crore under him in 2013-14 fiscal. Widely travelled across the world, Ibrahim has interacted and interviewed some of the most well known leaders of global and Indian ICT industry, and has been working with the Govt of India on some ICT projects in the areas of e—Governance, web enablement, and local language computing. Ibrahim who has done MBA from AMU is an avid traveler, He loves to explore nature, history and food; plays football and tennis regularly; and swims everyday during summers.
