Aamena Ahmad

- Programme Officer

Aamena Ahmad joined TiF formally in 2018, though as a friend of the cause and organisation, she has seen it unfolding over the years. She is closely involved in overseeing the Joy of Learning Project, its monitoring, reporting and management; and promoting TiF’s Tonk Arts India Festival (TARIF) project. She supports the Director in planning and proposal writing, liaison with donors, outreach and advocacy. After pursuing her B.A (Hons.) in Sociology from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, she completed her Masters in Development Studies from The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. Aamena loves to write, travel and read. She enjoys poetry and discovering new music. Having blessed with great education it is humbling for her to see the challenges of education. She is passionately committed to the cause and because of her unpretentious and sincere demeanour has been able to strike a great rapport with the JoL Mentors and the students and parents in the villages. She has been documenting the case studies and the success stories, making videos which are being uploaded on the TiF website.
